On Cinco de Mayo, MAM joined in celebrating the annual AMP Awards for Music and Sound at City Winery in Manhattan. We schmoozed with friends and colleagues, and got to see several of our talented clients get recognized for their wonderful work.

This is the third year AMP has recognized and celebrated musicians’ work and contributions within the advertising world.

We were so excited to see our MAM-Fam get in on the awards love!

  • YESSIAN was one of the two winners for Best Original Song with their song "Showtime" for Opel Corsa.

  • WALKER won Outstanding Adaptation and Best Use of Music for a Film or Game Trailer with their adaptation of David Bowie's hit "Let's Dance" (arranged by McKenzie Stubbert) for the animated film "The Box Trolls". They were also nominated for Best Use of a Licensed Song with the song "Let It Move You" for Zumba.

  • POLLEN MUSIC GROUP was nominated for Most Effective Use of Music in a Non-Broadcast Medium with their song "Duet" for Google/ATAP.

  • EMOTO MUSIC was nominated for Most Effective Sonic Branding with their song "Crayola" for Toys 'R' Us.

When we weren't cheering on the winners or yakking it up with some cool cats, we were rocking out to some super stellar music from fiercely tantalizing diva Gin Wigmore and sultry electro-pop duo Marian Hill.

Here's one more great big congratulations to our MAM Family, and all the rest of the winners!  We are so proud of all of you, and are honored to be a part of your continuing success.
