Swell Punctuates 'Freedom'

Did you catch Pharrell Williams’ vid for his latest single, “Freedom”, when it dropped?

Unless you have an Apple Music subscription, probably not. The video was released exclusively through the new streaming service June 30 (the same day Apple Music dropped).

But now, as of July 22, it’s on Vevo's YouTube channel!

Even if you’re one of the 10 million Apple Music subscribers who have seen the video, take another look and check out the stellar sound design and mix by MAM Family Swell Music.

While Swell isn’t a newbie to big names (already working with Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar earlier this year), they are still “humbled to be a part of this work.”

The song itself is a foot-stomping anthem about universal humanity and interconnectedness all around the world (quite a U-turn from Williams’ 2013 “Blurred Lines”).

Plus, it's an epic video, chock full of power, compassion, empathy, freedom, empowerment... and truly magnificent whales.
