DJ Dave Releases New 'Mixologist' Vid

Cheers to Elias Arts composer David Wittman and his Fog and Smog collective for their latest tune + music video, "Mixologist".

When asked what inspired the catchy lyrics about snooty 'mixologists' and their over-the-top bartending practices, Wittman said it was initially brought up by (wait for it...) a bar owner. The idea took root, and Fog and Smog went to work with the rhymes.

The video has since been picked up by various news outlets, including The Huffington Post and theKitchn. But it was a shout out from BlackBook Magazine, presenters of Stoli's Midnight Mixologist series, that most stirred Wittman.

"I was happy to see a little New York love from BlackBook," says Wittman. "Seeing as we're a West Coast outfit and all."
